New Year's Eve Dance

Celebrate New Year’s Eve with a night of dancing and live music at the Family Life Center (16349 Chillicothe Road, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023). The New Year's Eve Dance will feature a variety of dance styles, including contra, waltz, and swing, with lessons provided before each segment. The event will take place on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 12:30 AM. The evening will begin with a finger food potluck at 6:00 PM, where attendees can mingle and enjoy delicious dishes brought by fellow dancers. Beer and wine will be allowed in moderation after 10:00 PM.

The NEO All Star Band, featuring a stellar combination of recording artists, will provide live music throughout the event. The band lineup includes Bob Frank, Bill Lestock, Ray DeForest, Scott Flowers, Bob Corlett, and Will Craig. Their exceptional talent will ensure an unforgettable night of dancing.

The event will be divided into three segments, each focusing on a different dance style. The contra dance, called by Carol Kopp, will take place from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, followed by an hour of elegant waltzing from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The evening will conclude with swing dancing from 10:00 PM to 12:30 AM, with attendees ringing in the New Year.

This event is open to both experienced and non-experienced dancers. No partner is required for the lesson or the dance, and the introductory lessons are included in the ticket price.
